Easter Cutout Cookies

Easy to make Easter and Spring Cookies:

Hallmark Bunny Cookie Cutter

1           roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough

1/4

cup all-purpose flour

1

container (12 oz) fluffy white frosting

Food Coloring

Colored sugar or other decorations of your choice

On floured surface roll out refrigerated cookie dough, make cookies with your choice of cutters.

Bake according to the directions on the package of cookie dough.  Use your imagination and decorate your cookies.

Butter Cookie Recipe

Butter Cookie Recipe ~ Roll out cookies for all seasons

You will need:

1C Butter 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice

1 C Sugar 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

1 Egg 2/12 Cups Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

*Mix first six ingredients with electric fluffy.

*Gradually stir in flour by hand until well mixed

*Chill 2 - 3 hrs until firm enough to roll out with rolling pin

*Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

*Roll out half of the dough on a floured surface until 1/8" - 1/4" thick.

*Cut with cutter and place on ungreased baking sheets

*Decorate at this stage with colored sugar, chocolate jimmies, raisins or nuts.

*Leave plain if you plant to decorate with icing.

*Bake 6-10 minutes until edges of cookie are light brown ~ Remove and cool on wire rack

Buttercream Icing Recipe

3 Cup Confectioners Sugar

1/3 Cup Butter

1 -2 Tablespoons Milk

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Combine above ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
